Finally, after many months, we are ready with the Professional Lid!
Professional lid is coming real!
About one year ago, a few days before LAB-BOX production started, we found a couple of issues in the firmware and the hardware of this product. We tried to solve the problems, but we realized that it would have not taken a short amount of time.
Due to these problems we decided to stop the production, so we could proceed with manufacturing and delivering LAB-BOX tanks as soon as possible, without delaying the project any further.
We decided to take a few months to understand how to proceed, as these issues on the Professional Lid required a lot of money to fix the firmware, to remake some pieces, reprogram of PCB and for assembly etc.
In January we finally decided to finish the product and we are finally ready to start shipping from our factory in China: as you can imagine the Covid-19 emergency delayed a lot the production, but now we are finally ready.
WHAT IS PROFESSIONAL LID?
Professional Lid is a special accessory with a built-in Timer and Thermometer.
It is a professional alternative to the standard LAB-BOX lid.
The Lid has a stainless steel probe which can measure the liquite temperature inside the tank during the process, to control and check the developing.
Especially useful for process like the color negative C-41 which need a special attention to the temperature.
HOW IT WORKS?
Since the liquid can be poured into the tank even before to roll the film onto the reel, the built-in thermometer can give you the exact temperature of the solution inside the tank before to start the developing time.
The Professional Lid has also an integrated Timer, witht the possibility to save 3 different times which can immediately be setted through the T1, T2, T3 buttons.
